University Police Department

  • Fingerprint Service

The New York State Department of Education requires all applicants for certification and prospective employees of school districts, charter schools, and BOCES to complete a fingerprint-based criminal history background check. The University Police at SUNY Cortland has a program to meet the needs of students applying for certification and for future employees of school districts, by offering a fingerprint service at a fee of $10.00.
