Parking Department

  • Rules & Regulations

PARKING RULES & REGULATIONS

All vehicles, including guest vehicles, must be registered with the Parking Department to park on any campus roadway or in any campus parking lot.

Members of the campus community wishing to purchase a parking permit may do so on-line through this Website or at the Parking Department located on the first floor of VanHoesen Hall. The hours of operation are:

Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4:30 PM

Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM (Summer hours)
 


Student Parking

Freshman students with a "D" permit may only park in the 281 Parking Lot. To park in this lot a valid "D" permit is required.

Sophomore or higher have parking available in the Park Center Parking Lots and the Studio West Lot. To park in these lots a valid "C" permit is required.

Graduate students will be allowed to park in the Pashley (Davis Field) Lot or the Lower Graham Ave Lot. "G" permits may also park in any "C" permit lots. To park in the "G" or "C" permit lots a valid permit is required.

West Campus students with a "W" permit may park at the West Campus Parking Lot or the 281 Parking Lot. A West Campus student may also choose to purchase a "C" permit which will allow them to park in the Park Center Lots to include the West Campus lot.

Students that have their first class start after 4:00pm may purchase a "L" permit , which will allow them to park in the faculty/staff lots after 4:00pm. Students with "L" permits that use campus facilities prior to 4:00 pm must park in the 281 Parking Lot.

Lost permit charge is $15.00.


Faculty/Staff Parking

All Faculty/Staff must have an "A" permit on their vehicle in order to park in any lot. Purchase your permit on-line click here.

Lost permit charge is $15.00.


Restricted Parking

There is NO overnight parking (between 2 AM to 6 AM ) Monday- Friday, in the following locations.

All faculty/staff lots

Neubig Parking Lot

PER Faculty/Staff Parking Lot

Corey Union Parking Lot

Casey Tower Lot

Whitaker Lot

DeGroat Lot

Brockway Lot

**ALL vehicles parked on Neubig Road and on the Water Street Ext (Service Road), between 2 AM and 6 AM, will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense seven days a week.

Vehicles that park in fire lanes, handicap areas and other restricted areas will be ticketed and may be towed at the owner’s expense. Please look for the signs that designate these areas to avoid a ticket and an expensive tow bill.

All lots have open parking from 5:00 PM until 2 AM Monday through Friday and from Friday at 5 PM to Sunday at midnight. This does not include areas where signs indicate Reserved Parking, Handicap Only, Fire Lanes, No Parking Zones or Metered areas.

Flagrant abuse of regulations may result in the revocation of New York State license privileges (motor vehicle registration) and a referral to collections. Persistent violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
