CARUCCI TO SPEAK AT SUNY CORTLAND'S
SPORT MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE NOV. 22

(Nov. 15, 2002) - NFL.com senior analyst and
NFL Insider national editor Vic Carucci will give the keynote
address at the State University of New York at Cortland's Second
Annual
Sport Management Conference Nov. 22 on the SUNY Cortland campus.
The event, whose 2002 theme is information technology in sport,
is run by faculty and students in the Cortland sport management
program. Registration starts at 8 a.m. in Brown auditorium in
the Old Main Building. An updated conference agenda and information

Throughout
the day, there will be academic panel discussions and IT in sport
demonstrations from sport management faculty, students and industry
professionals. In addition, the conference will also showcase
Cortland Sport Management's new Sport Technology Learning Center
and the technology in the college's new stadium complex.
The
STLC, the only one of its kind in the nation, has been designated
as the Pinnacle Systems Team Sports national training center.
Pinnacle's Team Sports division, located in Lowell, Massachusetts,
provides digital video editing and analysis software and hardware
for professional sports teams and college athletic departments.
In
addition to NFL.com and Pinnacle Systems Team Sports,
among the organizations scheduled to be involved at the conference
include the Tickets.com, the Buffalo Bills, Syracuse
University Athletics, Cornell University Athletics
and the Buffalo Sabres.
