We have a Speech and Hearing Club on campus that is affiliated with the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA). The club has been active in sponsoring fund-raising projects that benefit our Center for Speech and Hearing Disorders. It has also sponsored a number of guest lecturers who have spoken on a variety of professional topics. You are encouraged to become involved with the club. It provides an excellent way to meet new people and increase your awareness of the profession that you are entering. Membership is open to all students.

You are also encouraged to become a member of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA). This entitles you to a number of professional journals at a cost that represents a substantial reduction. It is desirable to begin your professional journal collection while still in college.
