Students who choose this concentration may decide to pursue careers within or outside of anthropology. In addition to the general anthropology curriculum, this concentration will encourage students to develop a focus on a particular application of anthropology, such as addressing problems relating to health, education, cultural or linguistic preservation, human rights violations, refugee status, and poverty.
