Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology
Outline
Students who declare the anthropology major are encouraged to participate in field, laboratory, and museum projects and to work closely with the faculty on research. Many projects can be tailored to student interests. The anthropology program has a small museum with varied exhibits, an archaeological laboratory, human skeletal materials for study, and a slide collection on topics related to anthropology. Majors are advised to gain field experience and to design a program of electives with a vocational orientation or to declare an appropriate minor in consultation with a faculty advisor.
