Hayes Hall

Hayes HallHayes Hall was built in 1959 and is named after Ina Hayes who taught at Cortland between 1917 and 1953.  Hayes is one of six low rise residence halls that were constructed between 1957 and 1962 on the SUNY Cortland campus and was recently renovated in 2005.  Hayes Hall is a corridor style building with double rooms .  This low rise residence hall is a mixed hall that houses both upper-class students and new students.  This hall also houses many of our athletes that take part in Winter Season sports for the purpose of housing during college breaks.   Like all of our residence halls, Hayes is managed by a full time professional Residence Hall Director (RHD) who both lives and works in the hall.
