Alger Hall

Alger HallAlger Hall was built in 1967 and was named after Minnie M. Alger who was taught music at the college from 1893-1925.  Alger underwent a major renovation in 2003 which expanded the different housing options in the hall.  Alger is an eight story residence hall that houses upper-class and transfer students.  Each floor in Alger Hall has two, six-person suites comprised of 3 double rooms and two corridors with both single and double rooms.  There are 4 singles per floor for a total of 28 designed single rooms.  Like all of our residence halls, Alger is managed by a full time professional Residence Hall Director (RHD) who both lives and works in Alger Hall.
