Academic interests: Empowerment and resilience in adventure education; cognitive and social-psychological dimensions of adventure and outdoor learning; outdoor leadership development; motivation and risk recreation

Leisure interests: Mountaineering, climbing (rock, ice), backpacking, x-c skiing, paddling, and just good ole exploring. My dream job is to be the next Boyd Matson (former host of National Geographic Explorer)
