Leisure/Recreation Program Delivery Concentration

The Profession

The Leisure/Recreation Program Delivery concentration allows graduates to work in a wide variety of positions in the recreation field. Based on a strong curriculum of leadership, supervision, event planning, human growth & development, and social behavior, the curriculum prepares graduates to work in leadership and programming positions in parks, recreation, human service, senior services, and youth services organizations.

The Nationally Accredited Curriculum

The core curriculum and the concentration in Leisure/Recreation Program Delivery are nationally accredited by the National Recreation and Park Association/American Association of Physical Activity and Recreation (NRPA/AAPAR) Council on Accreditation. The core and concentration courses, which integrate theory and practice, build on a solid liberal arts foundation.
