Outdoor Adventures at SUNY Cortland (Credit)
REC 102: BACKPACKING (1 credit)

Learn backpacking techniques, skills, information, and practical experience. Students will learn about technical equipment such as tents, packs, and sleeping bags, and acquire skills in navigation, cooking, low impact camping, and other techniques necessary to practice this enjoyable outdoor recreation activity.

Class fee is $25 (covers transportation, equipment rental, gear use)
