Psychological Counseling

This lab will consist of three parts. 

The first part will present a table and subsequent explanation of seven approaches to therapy.  You will be asked to use some of the information from this material in your lab answer worksheets.  Remember that this is a very brief description of the approaches to counseling.

The second part will give you specific information about non-directive (or Client Centered) therapy and you will be asked for some answers related to this material.  You will also be asked to apply some of it to your PsychSim exercise.

The third part of this lab will consist of a PsychSim exercise.   Keep in mind that this exercise uses a very elementary form of computer logic, but that it does closely represent the philosophy of Client Centered Therapy.  Try to overlook the obvious grammatical errors and get a feeling of what Client Centered Therapy is all about.
