Current status of search - The three finalists have agreed to meet with Chancellor King and his staff in Albany. A final decision should be made and approved no later than the May 2003 SUNY Board of Trustees meeting.
April 11, 2003 - SUNY Cortland College Council met to make its final decisions and forwarded three candidate names to SUNY Chancellor Robert King. The finalists are: Dr. Erik Bitterbaum; Dr. Cheryl Norton; and Dr. Suzanne Pasch.
April 10, 2003 - Search Committee met to make its final decisions. All acceptable candidates were forwarded to SUNY Cortland's College Council.
April 10, 2003 - Remarks from campus community due to Presidential Search Committee by noon. Forward to Mr. Stephen Hunt, Chair, c/o President's Office, 408 Miller Building.
March 24-April 8, 2003 - On-campus interviews of five candidates
March 17, 2003 - SUNY Cortland Presidential finalists announced.
February 21-22, 2003 - Airport interviews conducted by search committee, Syracuse, New York
January 27, 2003 - Pool of candidates narrowed to 12 for airport interviews
January 2003 - Upcoming Presidential Search Committee meetings scheduled January 13 and 27, 2003
November 15, 2002 - Dr. Charles Bunting, Vice President, Education Practice conducts open forum on campus in Jacobus Lounge (Brockway) from 10:30-11:15 a.m.
