I've been at Philips Broadband Networks since the fall of '99 working as a Jr. Design Engineer for the Element Management Systems Group and have recently been identified as the Digital Systems Co-ordinator for the Universal Head End project. This continues my previous work at Refrigerated Transport Electronics, in the area of remote monitoring systems. I have worked over 6 years as an Educator, in both the High School and Adult Education levels, in the areas of Regents Physics, Pre-Calculus, and Electronics. I have also worked as an Microwave Engineer and had the rare opportunity to work at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica as a Science Technician in the area of Upper Atmospheric Physics. I have been married since 1984 to a very patient man named Don. Don is presently working as an I.T. contractor, while in the evenings he pursues his true career path as an Artist. I continue to enjoy writing, cross stitch, gardening, and practicing Iaido whenever time allows.
