I have been a full time mathematics teacher at Cincinnatus Central School since 1987, mainly teaching 7th grade mathematics and Calculus. In fact, I started the calculus course in 1988 and have expanded it to dual credit calculus I and II. During this tenure as a teacher, I have coached track and volleyball, was the Athletic Director for two years, and advised the junior class and Honor Society.

The past few years I have left the classroom and took on other duties. I helped write the grant to secure funds for Cincinnatus' very own Teacher Resource Center. I was the first director for two years while also being the Curriculum Coordinator for the district. I left the directorship to be an Administrative Intern while keeping the Coordinator position.

I worked two years with a committee of teachers researching middle schools and this year I am the first Middle School Principal for the first Cincinnatus Central Midlle School. We are part of the one facility structure, whose original portion was constructed in 1935. My father helped build this school and my 15 siblings and I attended Cincinnatus, where 13 of them graduated.

In 1994 I married my wonderfully sweet wife, Patricia (Harvey), who has been the Children's Librarian at the Kellogg Free Library in Cincinnatus for nearly 20 years. We enjoy each others company very much and spend a lot of time with our families.
