History:

SUNY Cortland BS Physics 1982
Buffalo University BS Mechanical Engineering 1983

My professional career started in the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design field.  Not long after I accepted a position at what is now the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome NY managing Air Force research programs (Reliability, Prognostics, Artificial Intelligence, Planning and Scheduling, Database work etc).  One of my patents (cable chafing detection technology) is currently in flight testing (2007) on both a fighter and a helicopter.  The work that I have enjoyed best was the hands on work of developing a web application to help with the administrative work that comes along with managing the programs.

As for personnel highlights, I have been married since 1984 and my wife and I have 10 children.  (5 and 5 - the perfect family!)  They are all doing well and we are blessed to have them.

History:

Adelphi University, MBA course work, 1983
Farleigh Dickinson University, MBA course work, 1984

I began working in 1981 at Thorn EMI specializing in electron tube devices such as cathode ray tubes and photomultiplier tubes.  In 1985, I began working at Panasonic as a product specialist for the cathode ray tube department. Within a few years, I moved into sales and became involved in various display devices as well as mass storage devices.

In the late 80's, I moved into sales management with principal responsibilities for CRT display monitor sales in the eastern half of the USA. Primary business was with OEM (original equipment manufacturers) customers in the computer industry. (i.e. Compaq, IBM, Dell, Gateway, etc.)

In recent years my responsibilities have shifted to business development of flat panel display technologies such as Liquid Crystal displays, Plasma displays, etc.

Personal:
I married in 1985. My wife's name is Bonnie. She is a graduate of Russell Sage college with a teaching degree in special education. Bonnie is currently teaching special ed. at Park Middle school in Scotch Plains.  We have two children. Kristen, age 10 and Connor, age 6. Kristen is in 4th grade and Connor is in 1st grade.

I keep busy with home handy man type projects, fishing, boating, exercising and various family activities. Both children are excellent students and very involved in sports which occupies a great deal of our time.
