M.S.Ed. in Physical Education - Concentration in Coaching Pedagogy
The mission of the M.S.Ed. in Physical Education with a concentration in Coaching Pedagogy is to prepare students with the tools to enhance their teaching and coaching abilities through technology and research. The web-assisted program includes a focus on Dartfish, a digital video analysis software package. The curriculum utilizes the resources of various recreational and sport activities of the campus and community, blends technology with observation analysis, and incorporates these experiences with student research interests. Students progress through the program taking 10 credits in each of three consecutive summers. Online portions of the program run across both summer sessions, and students attend on-campus sessions each summer.
