Stephen B. Wilson

Stephen B. Wilson (conducting, music theory, applied and class voice) earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in voice and a Master of Arts degree in conducting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His Doctor of Arts degree from Ball State University was in conducting. His doctoral dissertation explored the scores of Stephen Sondheim from the theoretical and analytical perspectives. He has conducted choruses, orchestra, and been musical director and pianist for musical theatre productions on the east coast, the south, and the midwest. His many choral arrangements in a variety of styles have been performed by various ensembles.

He has recently begun to explore the variouis genres of Hispanic music, including tango and zarzuela, both of which he has performed publicly.
