Cynthia Halpin
Cynthia Halpin has worked as a performer, teacher and choreographer, in both professional and educational theatre, for over 20 years. A member of Actor's Equity Association, she has performed in New York City and regional theatre across the country. While on faculty at Millikin University in Illinois, Cynthia taught ballet, choreographed for the Dance Ensemble and School of Music Opera productions, and served as assistant director/choreographer for various Mainstage productions. In her native Long Island, she was director of Ballet at private dance schools, as well as Ballet Mistress and choreographer for teen/adult dance companies. She has taught Master classes for national and regional dance organizations in New York and Illinois. Cynthia is currently dance faculty for the Musical Theatre program, teaching ballet, pointe, tap and jazz. She is also Co-artistic Director of the Performing Arts Institute, as well as associate director/choreographer for many Mainstage productions.
