Academics
The Center administers an interdisciplinary environmental studies minor and areas of concentration. The minor requires a core of 11 credit hours. Students may also select a track in:
Environmental Education and Interpretation
Outdoor Pursuits
Organized Camping
Currently, areas of concentration are available in the following disciplines:
Environmental Health (Health Science)
Environmental Management (Biology)
Environmental Policy (Political Science)
Outdoor Recreation Management and Education (Recreation) with emphases in:
Outdoor Leadership
Camp Management
Natural Resource Recreation Management
Environmental and Cultural Interpretation
Pre-Environmental Science and Forestry
Students interested in one of these disciplines as a minor or concentration must seek approval of their academic advisor.
