Lynn Anderson photo

Dr. Lynn Anderson, CTRS, CPRP, project director for the New York State Inclusive Recreation Resource Center, is a professor and chair in the Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Studies Department at SUNY Cortland. Dr. Anderson has been active in the field of therapeutic recreation and inclusion for over 25 years.  She has worked in both outdoor recreation and therapeutic recreation settings, and has conducted research on inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities.  She has her master’s degree in outdoor recreation and park management from the University of Oregon and her Ph.D. in therapeutic recreation from the University of Minnesota.

Laurie Penney McGee photo

Laurie Penney McGee, CTRS is the full-time project coordinator for the New York State Inclusive Recreation Resource Center at SUNY Cortland.  In addition, she teaches for the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department, and supervises student internships.  Laurie has extensive experience in the area of recreation and inclusion, and has worked in the inclusive recreation field since 1999.  Laurie’s work focuses on advocacy, systems change, and inclusive recreation in general.  Laurie received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Glassboro State College, and her master’s degree from SUNY Cortland in therapeutic recreation. Laurie is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

Vicki Wilkins photo

Dr. Vicki Wilkins is a professor and international coordinator for the Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies Department at SUNY Cortland. Dr. Wilkins serves as project faculty for the New York State Inclusive Recreation Resource Center.  Dr. Wilkins’ work focuses on diversity, inclusion, and recreation.  She has been active in the field of recreation and therapeutic recreation for over 30 years, and has won numerous teaching awards as a professor at SUNY Cortland.  Dr. Wilkins received her master’s degree in therapeutic recreation at Florida State University, and her Ph.D. in therapeutic recreation/family development from Penn State University.

Whitney Mayer photo

Whitney Mayer is a graduate assistant with the NYS IRRC. Whitney has her B.S. from the University of Florida (Recreation Management) and is working on her M.S. in Therapeutic Recreation at SUNY Cortland.
