Fishin' For Kids' Stuff
Kids' Stuff is a summer program I worked at for two years! What an incredible experience! this program was Monday through Friday, 9am until 11:30am. The children ranged from ages 3 to 5, and they all had such unique personalities!Part of my responsibility working here was coming up with science activities, art projects, and bulletin boards for the children. One of my first bulletin boards I did with the children was creating an ocean, and having each child decorate his/her own fish.
This interactive bulletin board introduced us to all the children, as it was the first art project of the summer. Each child had the opportunity to use any art materials they wished and create a fish to hang in the ocean. One child even decided he wanted his fish to be swimming the opposite way from the others-this was an indication to the rest of the summer! Haha! It was an incredible experience!
