#DontBoxMeInToo

Ricardo Destinvil is a SUNY Cortland Political Science major, Multicultural Life and Diversity Office intern, a National Student Affairs Professional Undergraduate Fellow, and a Residence Assistant. Mr. Destinvil has been expressing his critical race and social justice frameworks through art and we are proud to present #DontBoxMeInToo. This project is the second in a series of critical race and social justice videos that started with the original work entitled #DontBoxMeIn, which looked at the stereotype of inferiority in people of African descent. This video focuses on a broad range of stereotypes and Mr. Destinvil hopes that the video resonates with your lived experiences and awakens your drive to end the boxing in of those who are different.
