At this time the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) offers the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) examination, for individuals in the health education/promotion profession. Eligibility, to sit for the examination, is based exclusively on academic qualifications. The CHES examination is given bi-annually in specific locations. This is an individual credentialing process.
