Master of Science in Teaching

Admission Requirements

In addition to meeting the requirements for admission to a degree program stated in the current Graduate Catalog, the applicant for enrollment in the program leading to a Master of Science in Teaching in Health Education should present the following:

1. An overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.8 or better

2. Names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three references

3. Provide a copy of current teacher certification, where applicable

4. M.S.T. Track A is designed for those applicants with teacher certification in an area other than health

5. M.S.T. Track B is designed for those applicants with no teacher certification

6. M.S.T. Track C is designed for those applicants participating in the SUNY Cortland 4 + 1 program with the Physical Education Department (Additional applicant materials are required. See undergraduate advisor.)
