D. Admission to Program:

Completion of 45 credit hours with minimum GPA of 2.5 overall, and 2.5 in each of the areas A, B, and C listed above.

E. Eligibility for Student Teaching:

To be eligible for AED 445 (Student Teaching, see F below) a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 is required. Additionally, a 2.5 GPA is required in each of the areas A, B, and C listed above. A minimum of 24 credit hours in area A and 24 credit hours in area B are required. The following must be completed before the student teaching experience: PSY 101, 232; AED 391, 442 , 443, 444; BIO 110, 111; CHE221; GLY 261, 262 or 570, 301, 302, 363, 367; PHY 105, 150; and MAT 121 or 201 or GLY 281

F. Other Requirements:

Specific information regarding other requirements (state exams, workshops, finger printing, foreign language) are listed in the college catalog. GE-8 requirements are satisfied by courses in the major.
