Major in Adolescence Education [SSA & GRY]
Social Studies & Geography (Grades
7-12)

This program allows students who major in geography to qualify for
certification to teach adolescence education in social studies (grades
7-12). It combines a major in geography with a professional semester
that consists of professional preparation and student teaching.
All New York State teacher education programs are currently under
review by the New York State Education Department and are subject
to modification pending approval.

- Professional Preparation: 44-68 credit hours
