Discipline-Based Panel - Critical Thinking

The Discipline-Based Panel on Critical Thinking is chaired by David A. Hunter, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Buffalo State College. Additional members of the panel are as follows:

Final Draft of Rubrics Distributed by Panel and Approved by Governance Bodies
On October 6, 2005 the Critical Thinking Panel provided its final draft of rubrics and standards for public inspection. On October 22, 2005 the Faculty Council of Community Colleges at its fall plenary approved the rubrics and standards, and on October 27, 2005 the Executive Committee of the University Faculty Senate did so. In addition, the panel has provided a series of "anchor responses" that illustrate students' answers to questions at the various levels of proficiency for the two critical thinking student learning outcomes. These anchor responses can be accessed by clicking here.
