Assignment 7
Final work on mini-project 2 (We will hold off an additional week to give you some more time working in class on these next week.)
As in your first mini-project, pay particular attention to your flowchart and make sure it reflects the way that one can move through your site. If there are multiple ways to move through the site (which there should be because it cannot be linear), your flowchart needs to indicate these paths correctly.
Review the SWBAT from the Identifying pedagogical goals and objectives lesson.
2. Explore the links on the bottom of the page for further enlightenment vis-a-vis elements of style, fonts, colors, etc.
3. Find a New York Times (or similar newspaper) and take a
look
at the inside or special sections that tend to pay attention to these
topics.
These sections are typically "Arts & Leisure," "Lifestyles," and
the
like where much white space, graphics, lettering, and text are
used.
Study the layouts of these pages and pay particular attention to the
elements
of style that really make the page work. The people who make
these
pages are professionals; learn from their work.
4. Experiment with these new elements to enhance your web
pages, thinking about both mini-project 2 and your mini-project
1. Go back and look at your first project
and come up with at least one way you could improve it by incorporating
stylistic changes.
