Assignment 4
1. Work on mini-project 1
Pay particular attention to your flowchart (i.e. your project outline) and make sure it reflects the way in which one can move through your site. The flowchart can be a simple pencil drawn sketch. If there are multiple ways to move through the site (which there should be because it cannot be linear), your flowchart must indicate these paths. Make sure that your links work, that your images work, and that all pages and images are located in the same folder (These are the most common mistakes).
Review the page on Image Editing and examine the page on Sound Editing.
Review and practice moving files via FTP.
2. Online discussion
Log onto your Blackboard / eLearning space for ICC 523. Look under the DISCUSSIONS tab in the left hand column, and follow instructions to contribute to the Gizmos & Laptops - techno problems in schools discussion of the two articles
"Seeing no progress some schools drop laptops" (web version)
&
"A school that's too high on gizmos" (web version)
Be sure to comment on specific information in the articles. How does this relate to your own school? Respond to what some of your classmates have written.
In contributing to this "blog" discussion, note that an important point here is to think about the differences between a threaded discussion and a blog.

If you are using an online discusion with your own students, would it be best to use only a single kind of discussion format? Why?
