The project must have a cohesive theme with a pedagogical goal carried
throughout. (IOW The project will teach something.))
This theme should be significantly new and different from previous projects (IOW Don't reuse any material).
Your project should include elements of both language and
culture.
Use of style must add to the cohesion of the project; this includes but
is not limited to the following topics:
good use of white space/page design; item grouping
good use of fonts
alignment of text & graphics
highlighting
use of appropriate & wide range of media for theme presented (images & sound)
Media must be well-integrated into goals of presentation.
Minimal Requirements
length: 8 slides
these 8 slides must represent at least four different functions,
for example:
title
index
TOC
bibliographic information
credits
an order blank, permission slip
etc.
branching; the project must be non-linear / interactive
correct use of transitions and other functions in PowerPoint
graphics; the project must include original clip-art and edited photos
sound; the project must include original recorded sound (i.e., your
voice)
and sound should be edited (at least normalized)
the project must be done using the language
being
taught as appropriate
You
will give an in-class presentation of your project. The URL will point to your PowerPoint file that you will place on your web site. You will
need
to turn in a page (hard copy) with the title of the project, the
project
theme, and a description of the goals of the project (SWBAT). Also
include a flowchart
that demonstrates the various ways of moving through the pages or
slides (the flowchart doesn't have to be fancy but it should show where the various required elements are found). For the various image or sound edits, briefly tell what you did. Please mark everything clearly with your name and the course number.
