| The Office of Financial Advisement is concerned that many students are not prepared to manage their financial affairs as they go off to college. Unfortunately, the lack of financial skills and experience can become an even larger problem as those students graduate from college and enter the “real world”.
While our office does our utmost to educate students in personal financial management; parents are a critical component in a student’s financial success, both in college and in life. Rather than trying to create our own tutorial for parents on promoting student financial literacy, we decided to defer to the lending community for their expertise.
