2008-2009 Academic Aid Year
We know that the major concern facing students and parents is the cost of college attendance. In order to assist you, we have listed the average costs for both in-state and out-of-state undergraduate and graduate students.
The amounts listed are estimates of both the average charges billed by the College and the out-of-pocket expenses faced by typical Cortland students and their families. Billed charges are the actual costs included in the billing statement sent by the Student Accounts Office. Out-of-pocket charges are not billed by the College, but students and families can use these figures to help plan for spending money and other cash needed by students.
Students who have a surplus of financial aid above their billed charges are allowed to charge their books and supplies at the College Store.
Students living off campus will not be billed for room and board. However, these amounts are included in their final budget so that they may use financial aid to help cover the costs of living off campus.
