SUNY Cortland Teaching Assistants - Log In and Access All Levels

All Teaching Assistants must complete a Confidentially Form. This form is to be completed by the student and the faculty member. The original form must be mailed or delivered to:

Bryant Withers – eLearning Administrator
104C Winchell Hall
PO Box 2000
Cortland, NY 13045

When this form is completed the teaching assistant or faculty member should contact Chris Widdall 607-753-2231 or widdallc@cortland.edu for teaching assistant user training. This training takes about one hour and is driven toward the faculty member's specific needs along with instructions on the teaching assistant's unique username and password for the login process.

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

At this time undergraduate students may only have Teaching Assistant user access in the eLearning rooms. There is NO designer access for undergraduate teaching assistants in credit barring courses. NOTE: With special permission designer access is granted in some Specialty Rooms to undergraduates. These are reviewed case by case by the SUNY Cortland eLearning team. Additional training is required in those situations. For information contact Chris Widdall at widdallc@cortland.edu .

Graduate Teaching Assistants

With an additional training session graduate level teaching assistants may become active designers in the eLearning rooms at SUNY Cortland. Faculty members must request these services and a New User Training Session is required by both the faculty member (if they have not done so previously) and the graduate teaching assistant. Designing is to become a team effort between the graduate assistant and the faculty member so that both individuals gain knowledge and expertise in online course development. To inquire about this option contact Chris Widdall at widdallc@cortland.edu .
