eLearning at SUNY Cortland

Welcome to SUNY Cortland's eLearning Environment (Blackboard)

The Cortland eLearning system is part of 21st Century learning process at SUNY Cortland. Faculty utilize the eLearning system to augment their face-to-face courses by offering items like class notes, email communications, access to the online grade book, online class discussion, and Just-in-Time teaching strategies. Access to the eLearning program is essential for almost every SUNY Cortland student.

SUNY Cortland faculty also use the eLearning environment for online course offerings that are synchronous, asynchronous or hybrid (blended). The current list of online courses can be viewed by using SUNY Cortland’s Course Schedule and Registration Page. To find the online offerings for each term use the Search by Course Attribute select (Web) On-line Course Delivery or (HYBR) On-line & In-Class Delivery.

In addition SUNY Cortland's eLearning system is used for several online specialty programs that encourage continuing education credits, state certifications, and extended learning opportunities from experts in many fields.
