Dean's Office
School Overview:
The School of Education Dean's office is administratively responsible four academic departments and several service units. The academic departments are Childhood/Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Foundations and Social Advocacy, and Literacy.

The academic departments offer undergraduate programs in Childhood Education (1-6), Early Childhood Education (Birth-2), Early Childhood/Childhood Education (Birth-6), and Special Education/Childhood Education (1-6). Graduate programs are available in Childhood Education, Educational Administration, Teaching Students with Disabilities, and Literacy Education. In addition, there is an provisional (initial) certification in Childhood Education available at the graduate level.

The service units are Access to College Education, Center for Educational Exchange, Center for the Fourth and Fifth R's, Cortland's Urban Recruitment of Educators (C.U.R.E.), Institute for Disability Studies, Liberty Partnerships Program, Migrant Education Program, and NCATE Office.

Dean's Office Overview:
The School of Education Dean's office is located in Cornish Hall, Room D-206. All of the other departments and offices of the school are located in the Cornish and Van Hoesen Halls.
