Webinars
Service Description
The term webinar is used to describe a specific type of web conference. It is typically one-way, from the speaker to the audience with limited audience interaction. Webinars can be delivered utilizing one of many available computer programs with audio provided either through the web or on a separate conference telephone. In a Web conference participants may be seated at their own computer, or in the case of multiple participants, a room with a large display may be appropriate.
The originator of the conference decides the technical format and program application to be used. Most “viewers” for these many different applications are available online as free downloads but must be installed on the receiving computer in advance of the event.
