Richard Parisi

Richard Parisi recently retired after 32 years as a public school teacher and administrator. Rich was an administrator in four different New York State school districts. He was the Morgan Road Elementary (Liverpool, NY) principal when the school was named a National School of Character by the Washington DC-based Character Education Partnership (CEP) in 2000. He has also been a consultant with CEP and last year visited five schools that were nominated for National School of Character awards.

Rich was a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for the 4th and 5th Rs for over ten years. Since retiring, he was the Interim Executive Director of a non-profit. He is currently a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is on the Faculty of the Smart & Good Schools Initiative, a project of the Center for the 4th and 5th Rs and the Institute for Excellence and Ethics, Inc. (IEE).
