Audience

This workshop is ONLY available for current SUNY Cortland students seeking certification recommendation. Students will have a notation of completion indicated on their transcript. Certificates are not issued.

Description

All individuals seeking teacher certification (provisional/ permanent) must complete a minimum of three clock hours of instruction regarding the identification and reporting of child abuse and maltreatment. Any State Education Department approved agency can provide the required child abuse workshop. SUNY Cortland is an approved provider for this course. This class is interactive.

Fees 

$22.00 for instruction and text (subject to change). Cash or check/money order made payable to Center for Educational Exchange (CEE), or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover)

Notes 

Registration forms available in the Center for Educational Exchange office, Room B232 Van Hoesen Building. Enrollment at each workshop is limited.

Pre-registration required. Registrations will not be accepted the day of the workshop. Students not present at the beginning of the workshop will not be admitted and must register for a subsequent workshop (if one is available).
