The Council was notified of revisions in the bylaws and asked to respond by phone or e-mail if there were any concerns.

George VerDow has volunteered to become the Chair of the Hardware/Software Committee and has been so appointed.  His first task is to finish the standardization report started last year.

The Council has been charged by the Associate Provost to assist the development of the College’s Long Range Planning Goal #6 –the infusion of technology into the curricula of all departments.  The first task was to develop an explicit definition of the infusion of information and computer technology into a departmental curriculum.  All members of the council will be communicating with the Director on this matter.

Ted Fay and Dan DePerno treated the Council to a PowerPoint presentation about the Sports Management Program.  Click here to view the presentation on the CATE website (http://www.cortland.edu/cate).

The next CATE meeting will occur in October, 2003 at a site to be determined.
