The Biology Honor Society

Beta Beta Beta, or Tri-Beta, is a National Honor Society for the biological sciences that was founded in 1922.   The Cortland chapter, Epsilon Upsilon, was begun in 1979.  Dr. Mary Beth Voltura is currently the chapter advisor.  A variety of activities are undertaken every year usually beginning with fund raisers and ending with a induction ceremony for new students. During the year several speakers are invited to give evening presentations and sometimes trips are organized to visit various local sites.
