In April 2009, Carmit Schatz and Dennis DePaolo were awarded Student Research Travel grants from the SUNY Cortland Undergraduate Research Council. These two students conduct research in Dr. Patricia Conklin’s lab on ascorbic acid biosynthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana. They will travel with Dr. Conklin May 1-2 to SUNY Plattsburgh to present their research in poster form at the 73rd Annual Northeast Sectional American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) Meeting.
