Special note

There are a number of 4+1 programs available in the state of New York; you would complete a four year undergraduate baccalaureate degree in Biological Sciences and/or Chemistry (e.g., B.S. degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry) at SUNY Cortland, then a final one year clinical internship to complete all the requirements of Medical Technology. This completes all requirements needed to take the national certification examination in Medical Technology. There are several programs available in the state; e.g., Rochester General Hospital and Albany Medical Center.
