Cortland - Izmir Partnership in Economics
SUNY Cortland and the Izmir University of Economics have developed a partnership linking the Departments of Economics in both institutions. Under this agreement a joint international undergraduate program has been created, allowing students to earn diplomas from both institutions.
Students at Izmir University of Economics will be able to complete their first and third year coursework in Turkey, while finising the second and fourth year work in the U.S. The "dual-diploma" arrangement incorporates an exciting opportunity for cultural immersion. Graduates from the program will be well placed for careers in "finance, industry and international trade sectors at both national and international job markets."
