NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE MAP
Adapted Physical Education State Mandate (yes/no) | See answer to next question |
Adapted Physical Education (state regulations definition) | Adapted physical education is not a certification or endorsement area that is offered by the NH Department of Education. Adapted physical education falls under a related service within an individualized educational program (IEP) under Special Education (IDEA). Our school districts are well aware of their responsibility to provide all such supports, either as a related service under special education or as an accommodation under Section 504, in order to ensure that all NH students with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE). |
