The faculty teaching the department courses are experts in all the various subfields of Africana Studies, holding M.A., Ph.D. and/or J.D. degrees from highly regarded institutions.
Our faculty are also involved in campus life in many different ways, not just limited to teaching in the classroom. We make major contributions to the Outdoor Education Program, to the Model European Union program, to Study Abroad, to Cinema Studies, and to International Studies.
