Parents and Guests
Parents and guests are invited to accompany you to Orientation/Transition Seminar and to participate in the parent and guest program. The program provides an opportunity for parents and guests to gain insight on campus resources, ask questions, understand what college life will be like for students, and discuss how to support their students.
The first-year Orientation program is a day and a half long and includes an overnight component. Students are required to stay on campus in a residence hall with other new students. Guest are welcome to stay in a residence hall or at a local hotel.
Guests who choose to stay on campus will be located in a different building from their students and are encouraged to pack separately. We regret that we are unable to accommodate early arrivals.
The Transfer Transition Seminar is a day-long program. Housing is available on a limited basis for students and guests who need to arrive the evening before the program.
