Become an Orientation Assistant

Orientation Assistants (OAs) help new students adjust to life at SUNY Cortland through serving as positive role models, small group mentors and assisting with the entire orientation program. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team by supporting students and their families through this transition, while building relationships among your peers, faculty and staff.

Time Commitment: June 21 - July 24, 2008

Compensation: $1,700 stipend
Room on campus
Meals during designated program times

Program Assistant Applications Now Available!

The Program Assistant (PA) works closely with the Advisement and Transition staff in completing various tasks related to the implementation and running of the Orientation program. The PA also plays a vital role in helping new students and their families adjust to campus.
