Theme: Wellness and Personal Development

Suggested Discussion Topics and Activities:
- Have students create a wellness assessment tool. What do they think makes for a balanced, healthy lifestyle and how would they measure it?
- Visit the Health Promotion Office or have a health educator or peer health educator come to class.
- Visit Tomik Fitness Facility
- Ask students to attend the Wellness Wednesday Series and report back to the class on a particular topic.
- Play Sexuality Pictionary (The Advisement and Transition office has the game and will explain to the instructor or TA how to play)
- Have students do the Individual Values Ranking (PDF) worksheet
- What Causes You Stress? (PDF) Worksheet
- Have student answer questions form the Friendship handout
- Personal Control and Responsibility (PDF) Test
- Have student complete the Health Style: A Self Assessment questionnaire. This link also helps students interpret their scores and provides journaling and other interpretive activities.
