Spring 2008 Visitation Programs
Make SUNY Cortland a part of your future plans by starting with a visit to our campus. We are offering a variety of programs this spring that will allow you to experience our students, faculty, staff and campus facilities firsthand. Plan now to visit us by arranging to attend one of the programs below. We look forward to meeting you!
Our spring 2008 visitation schedule begins on Monday, January 23, 2008. The last day of tours is Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Tours are not available from March 7-14, 2008 due to spring recess. Tours are also not available on April 9, 2008. Our schedule is subject to change, please contact the SUNY Cortland Admissions Office to check on availability at (607) 753-4711.
Information Sessions
Sessions include a campus tour followed by an interactive presentation of by a member of our admissions staff. During the spring 2008 semester, information sessions will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tours will depart from the Admissions Office at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The information session will take place immediately following the tour at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Transfer Information Session And Tour
Sessions include an interactive transfer presentation by a member of our admissions staff, followed by a campus tour. During the spring 2008 semester, transfer information sessions will be held on Friday afternoons. The transfer information session will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a tour departing immediately following the presentation at 2 p.m.
Personal Appointments
During the spring 2008 semester, personal appointments will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tours will depart from the Admissions Office at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. followed by a personal appointment which allows you the opportunity to meet individually with one of our admissions counselors.
Note: Personal appointments and interviews are not required for admission to SUNY Cortland.
Mini Open Houses
Our Mini Open House programs provide an opportunity to tour the campus, participate in panel presentations with current students and staff members, and learn about the admissions process. During the spring 2008 semester, these programs will be held on the following dates at 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.:

Summer 2008
From Wednesday, May 28 – Friday, June 20 we will be offering tours and information sessions once a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tours will depart from the Admissions Office at 12:00 pm. The information session will immediately follow the tour at 1:30 pm. Please plan to be on campus for approximately 2 hours (1 ½ hour tour & ½ hour information session).
From Monday, June 23 – Friday August 15 we will be offering tours and information sessions twice a day, Monday through Friday. Tours will depart from the Admissions Office at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The information session will immediately follow the tour at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. respectively. Please plan to be on campus for approximately 2 hours (1 ½ hour tour & ½ hour information session).
